Our Story

Our story began in the early 70’s on the big island of Hawaii with a small Avocado farm near Honaunau in South Kona.  After moving back to the midwest and working for 20+years in construction, farming and finance, our hearts were drawn back to the beauty of the Big Island.

Growing Coffee

The first signs of “Kona Snow”, the small white coffee blossoms which cover the coffee tree, begin in February and March.  By April the trees are loaded with small green berries, about the size of marbles.  By late August, the green berries have ripened to a bright red, which is called “cherry”.
